A Previous Life...
TemperToo (Steve Hubbard & Ian Ormiston Stables) gigged on the London circuit in the 1980s, with then third member Martin Collins, under the name TemperTemper. Gigs included Malcolm Hardee's notorious Tunnel Club, near the entrance to the Rotherhithe Tunnel, London.
In 1988 they were approached by former Charisma Records boss, Steve Weltman, who was then looking for a band to work with Fish, who’d recently left Marillion.
TemperTemper had too many prior commitments to pursue Steve's offer, so the opportunity sadly fizzled out. After this, Martin, Steve & Ian drifted apart, focusing on careers to support their growing families.
Following a 30 year hiatus, TemperToo began writing and recording again in 2018, when Ian found Steve on Facebook. Discovering that they lived within 45mins of each other. after some tentative jam sessions, they began writing and recording their Telegraph Road album, released in 2021.
